Ride of Silence

I did a quick count and came up with 70 riders. It was a wonderful turn out, no doubt helped by the actual nice weather. The death of James McInnessIII just four days prior no doubt contributed to awareness of the ride as well. I thought, and hoped, that the death of Kevin Rogers last year would be the last ghost bike I would see in our fine city but I was unfortunately wrong.

Both cyclists were killed by people under the influence of prescription drugs.

So, I think we all had that on our minds as we did our Ride of Silence.
RIP Kevin, and "Tommy". You will be represented as long as I can ride my bike, and I will have company every year I'm sure.

HERE is a thingy I made.
